The DHML annual monitoring and Evaluation exercise for the year commence nationwide on monday Nov 23rd 2020. The exercise would last for two weeks and ends on the 7th Dec 2020.

The exercise which is a statutory requirement by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) serves 3 main purpose;
Firstly, the M&E exercise serves as a means of ensuring quality assurance of the services provided to DHML enrollees by the Health Care Providers (HCP).
Secondly, it serves as a medium for DHML to carry out personnel and equipment audit of the HCPs to confirm that they meet NHIS standards.
Thirdly, the M&E exercise serves as an opportunity for conducting enlightment for our enrollees in our barracks and bases.

All the 22 DHML state offices all over the federation are fully mobilised for the exercise. Staff of the HQ will also take part in the exercise within the FCT and in other parts of the country.

For this year's exercise as was done last year, the DHML state Managers are to oversee the exercise in states other than their own, in order to give the necessary vigour and objectivity to the exercise.

The MD/CEO, Surgeon Rear Admiral AB AFOLAYAN GSS, FWACP (rtd) charges all staff to participate fully and ensure the objectives of the exercise is realised in order to move DHML forward.
