1. on the 19th of August 2019, the Commander Armed Forces Specialist Hospital (AFSH) Kano, Col VE Abu paid a courtesy visit to the Defence Health Maintenance Limited (DHML) Head Office in Abuja. He was accompanied on this visit by his entourage which included: Lt Cdr NE Odu, Chief Nursing Officer, Flt Lt AS Ahmed, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, and Lt IN Aliyu, Finance Officer respectively.

2. The visitors arrived DHML office at about 1230hrs and were warmly welcomed by the MD/CEO of the organization. Thereafter, Col VE Abu stated the essential core of his visit. According to him he came to acquaint the MD/CEO on the current projects being embarked on at AFSHK and requested for DHML assistance as the Hospital is a major stakeholder in the provision of healthcare services to NHIS enrollees of the  Armed Forces of Nigeria.

3. At the end of the discussion, the MD/CEO presented souvenirs to the guests and took a tour round the organisation with them. Thereafter, group photographs were taken to keep the visit memorable. The Commander Armed Forces Specialist Hospital (AFSH) Kano, Col VE Abu and his entourage took their leave at about 1345hrs.
