The Defence Health Maintenance Limited Stakeholders' meeting which began in 1st December, 2021 was called for by the MD/CEO, Surgeon Rear Admiral (Rtd) AB Afolayan to Commanders, and heads of military health care providers, to look into early detection and rectification of fault lines capable of undermining the military healthcare system.
The stakeholders' meeting served as a forum to discuss operations of NHIS in military secondary/tertiary healthcare hospitals in view to making recommendations. The meeting was attended by many health care operatives from all over the country.
